Congratulations to the team at RISE and their economic development partners on the success of last week’s RISE Job Palooza. The regional hiring event welcomed more than 2,400 job seekers, offering critical support to International Paper and DS Smith employees impacted by recent workforce changes while opening doors to opportunities for any job seeker in the region.

With 124 employers participating, attendees had the chance to connect directly with companies spanning multiple industries, explore new career paths, and take important steps toward their next professional chapter. The energy and turnout reflected both the strength of Savannah’s regional workforce and the commitment of local partners to supporting economic resilience.
