Reverse Trade Show Highlights Small Business Week May 4 – 9

Small Business Week returns May 4–9, and the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing a full lineup of events celebrating the entrepreneurs and small businesses that help power our region’s economy. While the full schedule will be released in the coming weeks, one important program already needs the support of our larger member organizations.

On Wednesday, May 6, from 2- 5 p.m., the City of Savannah will host a Reverse Trade Show at the Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center, designed to connect local entrepreneurs directly with procurement and purchasing teams from established companies across our community.

The concept is simple but powerful. Instead of small businesses trying to track down the right person or department to introduce their services, this event brings those opportunities into one room. By participating, your organization can help create real pathways for local companies to grow, compete, and become valued partners in our region’s business ecosystem.

Participation requires only a three-hour commitment, and a table will be provided for your organization. Procurement representatives simply come prepared to speak with local entrepreneurs about vendor opportunities, procurement processes, and how to do business with your company.

Because 85% of the Chamber’s membership comprises small businesses, this event is especially impactful. When larger organizations open the door to local vendors, it strengthens our entire business community and keeps more economic opportunity here in Savannah.

We strongly encourage our member companies to participate in this important effort to support the next generation of local businesses.

Please take a moment to complete the short form HERE to confirm your participation. Additional details about the full Small Business Week schedule will be announced soon.
