Major Events Set to Drive a Busy February Weekend in Savannah

Savannah is gearing up for a busy — and exciting — stretch from February 12–16, as thousands of visitors arrive for a lineup of major events across the city.

The Nike Savannah Showdown at the Savannah Convention Center will bring more than 14,000 youth volleyball players, along with their families and coaches, filling hotels and restaurants throughout the area. The weekend also features the Savannah Ghost Pirates taking on the Jacksonville Icemen at Enmarket Arena, comedian John Mulaney at the Savannah Civic Center, and country star Parker McCollum in concert, all alongside Valentine’s Day celebrations that will add even more energy to local businesses. SCAD’s BAM! A Celebration of Black Artists in Music at the Lucas Theatre will round out the weekend with performances honoring Black History Month.

With so much activity taking place, it’s the perfect time to showcase Savannah’s signature hospitality. We encourage businesses to enjoy the excitement, engage with visitors, and help create a warm and memorable experience for everyone spending the weekend in our community.
