With more than 396 film and television productions shot in Savannah since 2019, the region’s thriving film industry offers exciting opportunities for local small businesses. Is your business ready for its close-up?
On Monday, November 16, from 9 a.m. to noon, Chamber members are invited to a free workshop at the Otis S. Johnson Cultural Arts Center to learn how to become vendors for film and television productions working in our region.
Hosted by the UGA Small Business Development Center, this informative session will introduce participants to Savannah’s film production industry and provide practical guidance on positioning their businesses to serve production crews.
Attendees will learn how to market products and services to production companies, navigate purchase orders and payments, strengthen their online presence, and register with the Savannah Regional Film Commission to increase their visibility to industry decision-makers.
From catering and transportation to construction, retail, and professional services, local businesses can benefit from Savannah’s growing film industry.
