This month’s Leadership Savannah programming highlighted our region’s most prominent manufacturers and their partners. Leadership Chairmen Mark Bennett who also serves as Senior Manager of Public Affairs and Community Investment at Gulfstream Aerospace gave opening remarks before leading the class on a facility tour where they saw a new jet take its inaugural flight.
The class then enjoyed lunch with Tim Cairl, Senior Director of Talent Development for the Metro Atlanta Chamber, and a panel discussion featuring Employability, Bridging Connections, and Deep Center representatives. The class also received a tour of G-Force to highlight strategic partnerships such as Goodwill and Gulfstream’s innovative parts-supplier relationship. Concluding activities included a networking hour with Greater Pooler Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Courtney Rawlins, and its Vice Chair, Jackie Schott.
