The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to congratulate Greg V. Sapp on being named President of the Council of State Court Judges—a prestigious honor recognizing his distinguished service and leadership within Georgia’s judicial system.
Judge Sapp, a longtime Chamber member, brings a deep well of civic and community engagement to everything he does. In reflecting on his new role, Sapp shared, “It’s a tremendous honor to represent my fellow judges across Georgia. I look forward to working collaboratively to uphold the integrity of our courts and ensure justice remains accessible and fair for all.”
In addition to his judicial leadership, Judge Sapp currently serves as a board member of Leadership Savannah, helping to guide the program’s mission of developing informed, committed, and engaged community leaders. He is also a former member of the Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education and previously served as Chair of the Chatham-Savannah Authority for the Homeless, where he helped drive forward critical initiatives to support housing stability and coordinated response services.
The Chamber celebrates Judge Sapp not only for this recent accomplishment, but for a long-standing legacy of service that continues to strengthen Savannah’s institutions and inspire the leaders of tomorrow.
