Is your company hosting college interns this summer? Encourage them to join the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce for InternSAV’s first summer networking event on Thursday, June 25, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Starland Yard.
InternSAV connects college interns with meaningful professional development opportunities while helping bridge the gap between higher education and real-world work experience in our community. Through events like this, interns have the chance to build relationships, strengthen their professional skills, and gain a deeper understanding of Savannah’s business community.
Creating opportunities for young people within our companies is an important investment in the future workforce. When interns are welcomed into professional spaces, they gain hands-on experience, confidence, and connections that can help guide their career paths. At the same time, businesses benefit from fresh perspectives, new ideas, and the opportunity to develop talent that may one day help lead our region’s economy.
During the event, interns will enjoy complimentary food and soft drinks from Starland Yard’s food truck pavilion while networking with peers and local business professionals.
