Savannah is in the national spotlight once again. The Savannah Sports Council has been named a finalist for Best Collegiate Sports Event in the SportsTravel Awards for hosting the Allstate SEC Volleyball Tournament in Savannah.

The SportsTravel Awards recognize standout events, venues and host cities making an impact on the sports-event industry. Winners will be announced during the TEAMS Conference in October, bringing together leading sports-event planners and destinations from across North America.
