Last week, members of the Savannah Area Chamber team had the opportunity to go behind the scenes for a hard hat tour of the new Tempo by Hilton Savannah Historic District, currently under construction in downtown Savannah. The visit provided an exciting firsthand look at one of the newest hospitality investments helping shape the city’s evolving skyline.

The seven-story property will feature six levels dedicated to 148 thoughtfully designed guest rooms, catering to today’s modern traveler. Planned amenities include a ground-floor lobby, lounge, and café, as well as flexible meeting space and a business center designed to accommodate both leisure and corporate guests.

One of the hotel’s most anticipated features is a rooftop bar offering sweeping views of the Savannah River—an addition that is sure to enhance the visitor experience while creating another vibrant gathering space in the Historic District.

As Savannah continues to welcome record numbers of visitors and meetings, projects like Tempo by Hilton reflect continued confidence in our destination and strengthen our local hospitality industry. We look forward to its opening and the positive impact it will bring to our community.
