A Year of Creative Connections: Paddywax Candle Bar Marks First Anniversary on River Street
River Street’s creative scene reached a bright milestone this month as Paddywax Candle Bar celebrated one year of business in the heart of the historic district. The anniversary ribbon-cutting ceremony, held at 223 W. River St., highlighted a successful first year of providing locals and visitors with a unique, hands-on opportunity to blend custom scents and create lasting memories. Since opening its doors, the Candle Bar has established itself as an experiential destination, inviting groups to celebrate special moments through the art of candle pouring. By blending retail with interactive programming, Paddywax has brought a vibrant, sensory energy to the waterfront, serving as both a popular tourist stop and a beloved local spot for creative workshops. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates the team on a successful first year and looks forward to seeing continued creativity and community engagement in the seasons to come.
