Waterside at Rice Hope Joins ARK Homes Community
Waterside at Rice Hope, now an ARK Homes Community, celebrated its acquisition with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 17th. The event, held at the Waterside at Rice Hope Clubhouse at 100 Lakeside Blvd., marked a continuation of ARK Homes for Rent’s strategic expansion across Georgia. This Port Wentworth community offers meticulously designed townhomes featuring three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, chef-inspired kitchens, smart home technology, and attached garages. Chopt Creative Salad Company Opens, Supports Local Non-Profit
Chopt Creative Salad Company celebrated the grand opening of its first Savannah location at Abercorn Walk on Friday, July 18th. Demonstrating a commitment to the community, Chopt donated all proceeds from its soft opening to P.A.C.K., a local nonprofit. The new restaurant, located at 5525 Abercorn Street, aims to make healthy eating exciting and accessible. Its globally inspired menu features freshly made salads, wraps, sandwiches, and warm bowls. The Savannah location showcases the latest CHOPT 4.0 design, complete with self-serve kiosks and streamlined ordering options for a convenient experience. The grand opening celebration included a ribbon cutting, prize wheel giveaways, free samples, and exclusive merchandise. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Chopt Creative Salad Company on its arrival and its immediate positive impact on the Savannah community.

Public Health 4 Kidz Production will unveil its new Science Center on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 8:30 am. This center will serve as a venue for kids and those alike to immerse themselves in public health science. Kids will start this experience by receiving lab coats and goggles to dress the part, and then the magic of science begins with engaging in hands-on experiments. One of our thrilling offerings is the Open Lab event, where young scientists can engage in health and environmental-themed science labs for an hour. Additionally, PH4KZ serves as an internship site for those pursuing degrees in health science, public health, and STEM fields. We offer programs to provide classes for homeschool and high school scholars. Our collaboration with the school system, community agencies, and churches allow us to take the science experience directly to various locations. Since December 2021, the organization has been dedicated to promoting public health education among children through engaging themes focused on social determinants of health, community outreach, and creative approaches to promote mental health and self-sufficiency. At PH4Kz, we empower young people to understand and participate in public health by fostering knowledge, teaching resilience through innovations, and engaging fun childhood-centered education platforms.
