As the oldest hardware store in Savannah, Maycrest Hardware opened its doors in 1960 and has been family owned and operated ever since (although it has been through three different families!). Kyle and Nancy Adair, new owner operators along with Texas and Pete Cates, have created great changes inside the original doors. They have opened the store aisles creating a comfortable shopping experience and added 7,000 items plus a new paint center, home and hearth department, outdoor living, ice, propane cylinder filling, and DIY lumber. In addition, they offer services such as key cutting, glass cutting, pipe threading, knife sharpening, and are soon to offer rental equipment. It’s truly a one-stop shop! Help the staff of Maycrest Hardware cut the ribbon on Friday, March 27!
