Georgia Chamber Hub Council Hosts Policy Breakfast for State Leaders Alongside Georgia Chamber Congressional Luncheon  

On Tuesday, August 8th, the Savannah Chamber joined the Georgia Chamber Hub Council as they hosted state leadership for a policy breakfast in conjunction with the Georgia Chamber’s Congressional Luncheon. The Hub Chamber Council membership is comprised of leaders from the 11 metropolitan hub cities outside of Atlanta and seeks to coordinate policy solutions to commonly shared challenges and goals statewide.

Commissioners John King of Insurance and Safety Fire, Tyler Harper of Agriculture, and Senator Bill Cowsert spoke to the Hub Council. They touched on issues of legal equity, housing, economic development, and the agricultural industry. In October,  the Georgia Chamber Hub Council will host their inaugural Legislative Preview and Reception. They will hear from leadership on its 2024 legislative priorities and panel discussions pertaining to issues relevant to the 11-member communities.
