FBLA Induction Highlights Youth Leadership and Chamber Connection

Savannah Area Chamber Vice President of Member Services Tina Hinson Mock recently addressed approximately 50 members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) during the South Effingham High School Chapter’s officer induction ceremony. Students, parents, advisors, and community leaders attended to celebrate the newly installed officers and discuss goals for the year ahead.

Mock was invited to speak on the topic of Youth Leadership, emphasizing the lasting impact FBLA has had on her personal and professional growth.

“It was truly an honor to be with the vibrant student leaders and distinguished faculty at South Effingham High School,” Mock said. “The students did a phenomenal job organizing the ceremony and entertainment. It’s inspiring to watch the next generation of leaders in action. It was also a full-circle moment for me to speak to the upcoming leaders of an organization that played such an important role in my own life.”

FBLA is the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world, helping more than 230,000 middle school, high school, and college members each year prepare for careers in business and leadership.
