The Chatham County Hospital Authority (CCHA) Trust has officially opened the application process for its 2026 grant cycle, offering a $2 million funding opportunity to support organizations providing preventative health care services to Chatham County’s indigent population. Grants are available to nonprofits and for-profit entities, with individual requests capped at $250,000.
Funding will focus on services in the following key areas:
• Behavioral and mental health
• Health screenings
• Dental hygiene care
• Specialty care services such as diabetes management
The application process begins with Letters of Intent due by July 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST. Selected applicants will be invited to submit full applications by September 12, 2025. Final decisions will be announced in November 2025, and funds will be disbursed throughout the calendar year 2026.
