Fifteen local entrepreneurs celebrated completing the City of Savannah’s 12-week Launch Savannah business accelerator during a ceremony Tuesday, marking an exciting milestone in their business journeys.
Facilitated by the city’s Economic Development Department, the program helps small and minority business owners strengthen their skills in financial management, marketing and branding, government contracting readiness, and pitch development.
The Chamber’s Erica Backus served as a guest instructor, sharing branding and marketing best practices to help participants promote and grow their businesses, and was on hand at graduation to congratulate participants.
Graduates receive a certificate and an award from the city, a business services scholarship, and a one-year membership with the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, which connects them with resources, networking opportunities, and fellow business leaders.
