The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Savannah invite Chamber members to attend a webinar on Thursday, August 13, offering a clear overview of the City’s new Stormwater Utility Fee, which takes effect September 1, 2026.

Representatives from the City of Savannah Water Resources Department will explain why the utility was established, how fees are calculated for commercial and non-single-family properties, and how impervious surface area affects the amount assessed.

Attendees will also learn about available stormwater fee credits, how to complete and submit a credit application, and where to contact City staff for additional assistance.

The webinar is designed for property and facility managers, business owners, institutional representatives, and others responsible for developed properties within the city limits of Savannah.
