Last week, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed Nancy Palmer, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and Tiffany Holmes, Deputy Director of the Foundation of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce for a post-legislative session discussion. Chamber members and community partners joined the conversation, which focused on key topics including Senate Bills 68 and 69 (tort reform), upcoming income tax cuts, and military retirement tax changes. The group also reviewed the local delegation’s performance, with the Georgia Chamber set to release a full scorecard at a later date. Looking ahead, the meeting touched on possible legislative goals and initiatives for the 2026 session.
