This Monday, October 27, 2025, the Savannah Area Chamber’s fall golf tournament, the Chamber Cup, will add an exciting new element this year: Pickleball!
To be played simultaneously with the Chamber Cup at the Savannah Country Club, tournament play will be paired by skill level and include an optional one-hour clinic led by certified instructors. The clinic will be ideal for those learning the basics or sharpening skills before competitive play. New players can rent paddles on site.
Tournament participants will be grouped into three flights, creating balanced matchups and ample opportunity for competition, connection, and camaraderie on the courts.
Prizes for top performers will be awarded immediately after pickleball play and again after the golf tournament is completed. Players are encouraged to stay and hear their names called to the winners’ circle.
While waiting for your play to begin, work your mental muscles at Mahjong and Mimosas, too! Mahjong tables will be set up around the club for another way to enjoy the Chamber Cup and Pickleball Tournament on Monday, October 27, at the Savannah Country Club.

Cost: $100 Pickleball player |Sponsorships starting at $1000
Pickleball skill levels:
Beginner – 1.0 – 2.5
Players are new to the sport, just learning the rules, and do not play often.
Intermediate – 3.0 – 3.5
Players can sustain rallies, understand basic strategies, and have some control over shots.
Advanced – 4.0 and above
Players exhibit strong consistency and control and can execute more advanced shots.
Players will be matched based on their skill level.
