BVK Experiences Savannah Firsthand During Immersive FAM Visit

Last week, Visit Savannah welcomed our new creative agency partner, BVK, for an immersive familiarization (FAM) visit designed to introduce the team to the depth, texture, and personality of our destination.

Over several days, the BVK team explored Savannah from multiple perspectives—spending time in the Savannah Historic District and venturing into surrounding neighborhoods, including Tybee Island, Moon River District, Starland District, and the Victorian District.

The visit blended walking historic sites with time spent meeting local shop owners, creatives, and community members—offering BVK a closer look at the people and stories that shape Savannah’s distinct sense of place. From architecture and culture to neighborhoods and natural landscapes, the experience was designed to go beyond surface-level discovery and provide authentic insight into what makes Savannah so compelling.

The FAM visit was a meaningful step in our partnership and an important foundation as we collaborate on the development of our next creative campaign later this spring.
