The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Savannah invite Chamber members to a webinar on Thursday, August 13, that breaks down the facts about the City’s new Stormwater Utility Fee. The new fee will take effect on September 1, 2026.

City of Savannah Water Resources representatives will explain the new Stormwater Utility, how fees are calculated for commercial and non-single-family properties, and available credits.

The webinar is designed for property and facility managers, business owners, institutional representatives, and others responsible for developed properties within the city limits of Savannah.

Attendees will learn:

• Why the Stormwater Utility was established, and when the fee will take effect
• How fees are calculated and how impervious surface area is used in determining the fee
• What stormwater fee credits are available
• How to complete and submit a credit application
• How to contact City staff for additional assistance
