Join us as we officially celebrate the Tybee Tidal Zone Splash Pad with a community Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, August 27.  Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m., with the official ribbon cutting taking place at 5:00 p.m.  

Families, local residents, visitors, community leaders, and children of all ages are invited to help us celebrate one of Tybee Island’s newest family attractions.  The Tybee Tidal Zone Splash Pad has quickly become a favorite place to cool off, laugh together, and make unforgettable memories just steps from the beach.  Children are encouraged to bring their swimsuits and towels so they can jump right into the fun.  And because every celebration is better with a little island flair, we invite everyone to wear their finest tropical attire…from Hawaiian shirts and colorful dresses to flip-flops.  

Come celebrate with us, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and help us officially welcome the Tybee Tidal Zone Splash Pad to Georgia’s Friendliest Island.  We look forward to sharing this exciting milestone with our community and visitors alike.
