Ribbon Cutting for The Irritable Pelican Artisan Gallery
The partners at Irritable Pelican Artisan Gallery are pleased to announce their Grand Opening Celebration after a lengthy delay due to community difficulties related to COVID. “Because of our concern for community health, we felt that we should wait to celebrate our opening. Because of the length of the time needed to allow people to safely gather, we are able to celebrate our Grand Opening and our first successful year in business,” says Rebecca Rice, Irritable Pelican Gallery partner. Because safety of their staff and the community is a continued concern, the gallery will sponsor “Art on the Lawn” in front of their gallery on Friday, April 9th, from 4-7PM and Saturday, April 10th, from 10AM-4PM. The official ribbon cutting ceremony will occur at 4:00 PM on Friday, April 9th. In addition, the customers will be able to tour the 3-room gallery, participate in drawings for handmade art, enjoy music provided by Islands Music Makers, and watch demos by IPAG artists. On Sunday, April 11th, customers are encouraged to tour the Gallery and participate in the surprise drawings and sudden discounts, giveaways, and outside entertainment throughout the day.
