Savannah African Art Museum invites you to explore two new galleries, The Liren Wei Collection and Roots and Rituals: Agriculture and Spirituality in the West African Interior, on Thursday, April 30 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm.

The Liren Wei Collection is their newest permanent exhibition space curated by Kate Lacivita. Highlighting some of the most striking work from across West and Central Africa, the Liren Wei Collection presents unique art from distinct cultures, communities, and artists from across the African region.

The exhibition, Roots and Rituals: Agriculture and Spirituality in the West African Interior, delves into the agricultural practices and beliefs of a selection of people groups from Mali and Burkina Faso, showcasing how their spiritual and cultural traditions are deeply intertwined with farming techniques and the land itself.

Enjoy a night of art, food, and extraordinary cultures at the Savannah African Art Museum.

Ribbon Cut at 6 PM.
