Day Clean: The African Soul is a cultural education and heritage organization that offers immersive historical tours, living history presentations, lectures, workshops, and cultural performances throughout Savannah, Hilton Head, and the Georgia and South Carolina Lowcountry. Founded on the Gullah Geechee philosophy of "Day Clean"'the belief that each day is a new beginning'the organization brings African American and Gullah Geechee history to life through engaging storytelling, authentic interpretations, and educational experiences. Day Clean serves schools, community groups, conferences, festivals, reunions, and special events, providing programs that inspire, educate, and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the region.
