Brittany Milward, a Savannah native, found inspiration in the vibrant markets of Gabon, Africa, where she lived with her husband after college. This experience ignited her passion for unique, colorful designs. Upon returning to the US, she discovered hand embroidery as a creative outlet during the pandemic. Her organic, doodle-style embroidery quickly gained popularity on Instagram. Simultaneously, her love for gemstones led her to start designing and selling colorful, customizable necklaces. Today, Britt's Funky Stitch is a well-known brand offering both embroidered art and handcrafted jewelry, all reflecting her signature style and commitment to individuality.
