Green-Meldrim HouseAn 1853 Gothic-Revival style gem which housed the military headquarters of General W. T. Sherman following the March-to-the-Sea during the Civil War. The house showcases the stories of the people who lived, worked, built, and made history in what became a National Historic Landmark. Showpieces: Interior dome, ornate plasterwork, triple front doors, and original furniture. Visit the website for hours and tour availability.
Hours of operation: Tuesdays - Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. with the last tour beginning at 3:30 p.m.
General Admission: $15, Seniors $13.50, Students (8 to 21) $10
