Savannah’s Public Relations team recently hosted its first press trip focused exclusively on Tybee Island. PR Manager Tanvi Chauhan and PR Coordinator Faith Rouche welcomed media guests for a two-night stay highlighting the island’s coastal charm, local businesses, and authentic experiences.

The curated itinerary featured several Tybee Island partners, including a behind-the-scenes tour of Tybee Oyster Farm, a meal at The Crab Shack and accommodations at Beachview Inn & Spa. Guests also met Tybee Island Mayor Brian West and his wife, Becky, and learned about the island’s community, culture, and coastal way of life.

The inaugural trip reflects the PR team’s ongoing work to raise Tybee Island’s visibility through targeted media outreach, compelling storytelling, and strong partnerships with local businesses and community leaders.
