Savannah is the only U.S. destination featured in Signature Travel Network Senior Advisor Ignacio Maza’s annual Where to Travel in 2027 list—and it leads the list as the first of 10 destinations selected worldwide.

Maza’s selections are closely followed across the luxury travel industry. A respected voice in the field, he has held senior leadership roles with both Signature Travel Network and Virtuoso. His annual list is not a paid placement and is not based on booking volume or search trends. Instead, it recognizes destinations with distinctive experiences, cultural depth, growing accessibility and strong appeal to travelers.

The list was unveiled at Signature’s invitation-only Owners’ Meeting in San Antonio, which drew approximately 450 agency owners, managers and preferred partners. Nearly 90% of Signature agency owners were represented. The network includes more than 15,000 travel advisors.

Savannah joins internationally recognized destinations including Mongolia, Bhutan, Sardinia and the Marquesas. The recognition is a significant third-party endorsement of Savannah’s growing profile in luxury travel and creates new opportunities to reach influential advisors who help shape travelers’ future plans.
