Visit Savannah’s Ginger McCoy recently joined Retreats Resources’ Buckeye & Bluegrass Roadshow, traveling through Columbus, Cincinnati and Louisville for three days of destination showcases and networking with meeting and event planners.

The roadshow offered valuable face-to-face time through networking lunches, destination presentations and engaging conversations with planners throughout the region. It was also Retreats Resources’ first time hosting showcases in both Columbus and Cincinnati, giving Visit Savannah an opportunity to introduce the destination to a new group of meeting professionals and begin building fresh relationships in those markets.

The three-day sales effort generated strong turnout and meaningful connections while highlighting Savannah as a premier destination for meetings and events. The Visit Savannah team looks forward to building on those relationships and turning new conversations into future RFP opportunities.
