Gridiron Action Coming to Enmarket Arena: Savannah Leprechauns Announced as City’s First IFL Team

Savannah’s sports landscape added a new high-energy franchise on Thursday, Sept. 24, as Savannah Indoor Football officially unveiled its team identity and branding at Enmarket Arena. Situated at 620 Stiles Ave., the venue hosted community leaders and sports enthusiasts for an 11 a.m. announcement celebrating the Savannah Leprechauns as the 18th team in the Indoor Football League (IFL). Led by head coach Clay Harrell and featuring former Savannah State standout Tony Roundtree Jr. as its inaugural player, the franchise brings a fast-paced, arena-style football experience to the Hostess City. The team will kick off its inaugural season on home turf on March 18, 2027. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates the Savannah Leprechauns on their exciting launch and warmly welcomes this dynamic addition to the local sports and entertainment scene.

Bespoke Scents in the Historic District: Tijon Savannah Fragrance Lab Celebrates Grand Opening

Savannah’s historic retail scene gained a captivating new experience, as Tijon Savannah Fragrance Lab officially celebrated its ribbon-cutting ceremony. Located at 7 W. York St., the new laboratory welcomed community leaders, locals, and visitors to explore the art of custom perfumery. Owned by local entrepreneurs Dayton Pietsch and Carolyn Sanford, Tijon offers interactive, hands-on fragrance crafting classes, featuring over 300 premium oils and an exclusive Savannah Collection of four locally inspired scents. The immersive space allows guests to craft and bottle their own signature perfumes and colognes in a welcoming setting. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Tijon Savannah Fragrance Lab on a successful grand opening and warmly welcomes this unique, experiential business to the Historic Downtown District.

Elevated Beauty and Community Care: The Gray Salon & Spa Celebrates Expanded New Location

Savannah’s wellness community celebrated an exciting milestone, as The Gray Salon & Spa officially hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its beautiful new location. Situated at 5102 Paulsen St., Suite 8A, the expanded salon and spa welcomed clients, local business leaders, and neighbors. Founder Gray Armstrong and his experienced team offered guests a first look at the elevated space alongside light bites, beverages, giveaways, and complimentary wellness services. Highlighting a strong commitment to community partnership, the celebration hosted a donation drive for Mary’s Place, collecting essential brand-new undergarments to support individuals impacted by sexual violence.
