Banana Ball is coming home, and Savannah is ready to celebrate. As the Savannah Bananas return to their hometown for the inaugural Banana Ball Championship League Playoffs, residents and visitors alike are invited to join in four days of community-wide festivities from October 1-4.
The playoffs mark the postseason of Banana Ball’s first six-team championship season, where four teams will compete for two spots in the first-ever Banana Bowl in Washington, D.C.
While playoff games will take place at Historic Grayson Stadium, the excitement will extend far beyond the ballpark with watch parties, player appearances, live entertainment, banana-themed specials, giveaways, and exclusive offers throughout Savannah.
For fans without game tickets, there are still plenty of ways to be part of the action.
The free Banana Ball Playoff Pass gives participants access to exclusive perks, discounts, prizes, and special offers at participating businesses throughout the weekend. Fans can add the pass directly to their mobile devices, check in at locations around the city, and unlock rewards along the way.
The grand prize: an official Savannah Bananas jersey autographed by KJ Jackson, the third baseman and social media sensation known for his viral dance moves and backflips. Other prizes available through location check-ins — while supplies last — include a Limited-Edition Playoff Weekend Sticker and a Service Brewing insulated can sleeve.

Banana Ball Playoff Weekend Highlights
Thursday, October 1 | City Market
The celebration kicks off in City Market with a Banana Ball player meet-and-greet from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 1. City Market will be decked out in banana flags all weekend, with participating businesses offering special banana-themed promotions throughout the celebration.
Fans can head to Wexford Irish Pub for a Banana Ball watch party, enjoy live music right in the courtyard, or browse local artist pop-ups set up throughout the weekend.
Friday, October 2 | Plant Riverside District
Plant Riverside District will host a Banana Ball player meet-and-greet from 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 2. Additional programming details are still being finalized — check back for more.
Saturday, October 3 | Eastern Wharf Food Truck Festival
Eastern Wharf joins the celebration during its third annual Food Truck Festival. The free, family-friendly festival features more than two dozen food trucks and live music PLUS a Banana Ball player meet-and-greet from 1-3 p.m.
October 1-4 | Service Brewing Co. Watch Parties
Throughout Playoff Weekend, Service Brewing Co. will broadcast every playoff game live on the big screen. Game times are 6:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Special offerings will include:
- $16 pitchers of Savannah Banana Beer during happy hour
- Exclusive banana-themed beer releases
- Food trucks and additional game-day specials
- A free Savannah Bananas koozie with the purchase of two four-packs of Savannah Banana Beer
