A Place for Hope and Healing: The Bright House Celebrates Expansion

Savannah’s family advocacy landscape reached a meaningful milestone, as Brightside Child & Family Advocacy officially opened The Bright House. Located at 1008 Wolf St., the organization marked the occasion with an afternoon open house and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The newly expanded facility consolidates two former visitation centers under one roof to better support local youth and families navigating the foster care system. Designed as a warm, welcoming environment, The Bright House provides a comfortable space for children to spend quality time with their parents as they work toward healing and reunification. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Brightside Child & Family Advocacy on this vital addition to the community and praises its continued dedication to strengthening Savannah families.

Curated Charm in Starland: Linen & Leaf Design Co. Opens New Retail Concept

Savannah’s creative Starland District welcomed a unique retail destination, as Linen & Leaf Design Co. officially celebrated its grand opening. Located at 2519 Bull St., Ste. A, the lifestyle shop marked the milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Founded by owners Taylor Cox and Tristen Bolin, the space thoughtfully combines vintage antiques, home décor, lush plants, and an interactive flower and tea bar. Inspired by family traditions, the store features curations of fresh blooms, hand-selected teas, including local favorites from Ashford Tea Co. and Hale Tea Co., and baked goods from Savannah’s Bloom Cookies. Designed as a cozy neighborhood haven to slow down and gather, Linen & Leaf invites guests to relax while enjoying views of Bull Street. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Linen & Leaf Design Co. on a wonderful grand opening and warmly welcomes this charming, community-driven shop to the Starland corridor.

The event will mark the launch of their new locally owned and operated business, which will provide professional residential and commercial fencing services throughout the greater Savannah area and surrounding communities. Guests are invited to meet Rhett and Anne, connect with members of the local business community, and help officially welcome 76 FENCE to Savannah. The evening will feature a ceremonial ribbon cutting along with light bites, beer, and wine as the Williamsons celebrate this exciting new chapter with friends, neighbors and community partners.
