Visit Savannah’s Anjuli King represented the destination during the Retreat Resources Northeast Roadshow, traveling through New York, Greenwich, and Boston last week.
Through a series of one-on-one appointments and targeted conversations, King connected with meeting planners across the Northeast to strengthen existing relationships, develop new leads, and identify opportunities for future meetings, conferences, and retreats in Savannah.
A key focus of the discussions was Savannah’s growing meetings infrastructure, including the expanded Savannah Convention Center and the highly anticipated Signia by Hilton Savannah. These developments, combined with Savannah’s historic character, walkability, acclaimed culinary scene, and distinctive visitor experience, provided a compelling story for planners considering future destinations.
Participation in the roadshow gives Visit Savannah valuable face-to-face access to planners in an important feeder market while helping generate new business opportunities for our member hotels, venues, and hospitality partners.
