Family-Friendly Fun on Tybee Island: Hotel Tybee Celebrates Tidal Zone Splash Pad

Tybee Island’s vibrant hospitality scene added a refreshing new attraction, as Hotel Tybee officially celebrated the grand opening of the Tybee Tidal Zone Splash Pad. Located at 1401 Strand Ave., the oceanfront property welcomed families, local residents, and community leaders for an afternoon celebration marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Located just steps from the beach, the interactive splash pad provides a colorful, safe, and engaging space for children and visitors to cool off and create memories. The festive event featured tropical attire, outdoor entertainment, and a first look at the island’s newest family destination. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Hotel Tybee on this exciting milestone and celebrates its continued investment in coastal recreation.

The day kicks off at 11 a.m. with ribbon cuttings at both facilities, officially marking this exciting new chapter for Port Wentworth, Savannah and the entire Coastal Georgia community. Stick around for an action-packed afternoon featuring live music, family-friendly activities, games, inflatables and bounce houses, crafts, local vendors, food trucks, a mechanical bull, food and Frozen Anchor Sports Bar, Georgia Bulldogs football and so much more!
