Visit Savannah President and CEO Joseph Marinelli, Vice President of Sales Kellie Linder and Director of International Sales, Mindy Shea represented the destination at Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas last week, joined by partners from Hotel Bardo and Perry Lane Hotel.

The annual gathering brought together nearly 5,000 luxury travel professionals from more than 100 countries, offering Savannah valuable exposure to one of the world’s leading networks of luxury and experiential travel agencies.

Throughout the week, Marinelli, Linder, and Shea met one-on-one with more than 100 Virtuoso travel advisors, sharing updates on Savannah’s growing collection of luxury accommodations, culinary experiences, and distinctive visitor offerings.

While in Las Vegas, Marinelli also had the opportunity to meet with Rebecca Misner, Senior Travel & Lifestyles Editor at Condé Nast Traveler, one of the most influential publications in the travel industry. The meeting provided another opportunity to strengthen Savannah’s relationship with national travel media and share updates on the destination’s continued growth.

As Savannah’s luxury travel offerings continue to expand, relationships with Virtuoso advisors, hospitality partners, and leading travel media are increasingly important in attracting high-value travelers and positioning the city among the world’s premier leisure destinations.
