Plant Riverside’s culinary and neighborhood market scene gained a flavorful new destination last week as Nelly’s Grocery & Wine officially celebrated its grand opening. Situated at 630 Indian St., Ste. A, the specialty market welcomed community leaders and food lovers on Friday, July 24, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, product tastings, and a first look inside the thoughtfully designed space. Designed as a celebration of intentional eating and craftsmanship, Nelly’s brings a curated approach to everyday shopping. The shelves feature a hand-selected assortment of specialty pantry staples, seasonal goods, and artisan wines, with a dedicated focus on showcasing emerging and underrepresented brands. By prioritizing products with a story and a deep respect for independent growers and makers, the market offers Savannah residents a unique space to discover new flavors while supporting purpose-driven brands.
