The Visit Savannah team recently represented the destination at IPW 2026 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, during the week of May 18. As one of the travel industry’s premier international marketplaces, IPW provides valuable opportunities to build relationships with global tour operators, travel buyers, and destination partners.

During the event, Visit Savannah held nearly 80 one-on-one meetings with key international tour operators and hotel and attraction distributors. These meetings helped showcase Savannah’s continued growth as a world-class travel destination and highlighted the experiences, accommodations, and attractions that make the city a compelling choice for international visitors.

Joining the Visit Savannah team were hospitality partners Dylan Mizenko with McKibbon Hotels Savannah, Valerie Shell with Hotel Bardo and Recess, and Lizzie Clanton with Historic Tours of America Savannah. Their participation helped provide buyers with a well-rounded view of Savannah’s hospitality offerings and visitor experiences.
