Jennifer Davenport, Vice President of Community Affairs and In-House Counsel for the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, recently participated in the BIG TIDE Summit, a high-energy kickoff event focused on the careers and aspirations of the future workforce.

Hosted by BIG TIDE, the Summit brought together students, educators, business leaders, and nonprofit partners for a dynamic experience centered on coaching, skill-building, and real-world opportunity.

Participants had the chance to pitch themselves and their career goals for seed funding while receiving guidance and hands-on support to help refine their paths forward.

Davenport highlighted the importance of strong community leadership in supporting young people, noting that events like this reinforce the partnerships needed to create meaningful opportunities for the region’s youngest citizens and strengthen Savannah’s future workforce.
