Small Businesses Take Center Stage this Week!

Savannah Small Business Week is officially off and running, with community leaders, business owners, and partner organizations gathering in Johnson Square for a press conference and ribbon cutting to launch a full week of activities.

Members of the business community were on hand to demonstrate the power of partnership and the important role small businesses play in Savannah’s regional economy. As a unified voice, agencies and organizations from across the area reminded attendees that small businesses are among America’s largest employers — and when small businesses are growing, hiring, and thriving, the entire community benefits.

The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Business Association, Hispanic Chamber, and Savannah’s Waterfront hosted more than 100 members at Eastern Wharf for an evening of networking, conversation, and celebration of the small businesses that drive Savannah’s economy.

Events will continue throughout the week, offering programs and resources designed to support the interests and needs of area entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals. From networking opportunities to educational sessions, Savannah Small Business Week is focused on helping local companies connect, learn, and grow.
