The Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) has named Kevin Price as President, effective July 1, 2026, reporting to CEO Griff Lynch. As part of a planned leadership transition, Price is expected to assume the role of President and CEO in mid-2027.
“Griff Lynch has led the Georgia Ports Authority through an incredible period of growth, which has improved the quality of life for so many Coastal Georgia residents who rely on port activity for their business or employment,” Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Bert Brantley said.
“Not only has he been a visionary leader in the logistics industry,” Brantley went on to say, “Griff has widened GPA’s influence in the communities in which it operates, with significant support for our Chamber and numerous other nonprofits in Savannah. Our board and staff wish Griff all the best in retirement, and we look forward to continuing to work with Kevin Price as he transitions into this new role with GPA.”
