Savannah’s Waterfront hosted another unforgettable Independence Day Celebration on July 4, honoring the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Thousands gathered to enjoy a day filled with patriotic pride, live entertainment, and community spirit at three lively venues: Plant Riverside District, Rousakis Riverfront Plaza, and Eastern Wharf.

The highlight of the evening was a dazzling fireworks show launched from a barge in front of the Savannah Convention Center. Choreographed to a patriotic musical soundtrack, the display lit up the night sky and celebrated our freedoms as Americans.

Savannah’s Waterfront is already gearing up for an even bigger celebration in 2026 to mark the nation’s Semiquincentennial—250 years of American independence.
