Spotlight on Service: Recognizing Our Ribbon Cutting Taskforce Leadership:
With a brief pause in our usual schedule of ribbon-cutting celebrations, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to shine a light on the dedicated volunteer leaders of our Ribbon Cutting Taskforce (RCT). The RCT plays a vital role in our community, offering direct support to new members celebrating grand openings, open houses, and other significant milestones. Its mission is clear: to build strong relationships, foster active engagement within the Chamber, and ensure every business, regardless of size, feels valued and supported.

The newly reimagined Chapel by the Sea is thrilled to announce its official Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Formerly known as the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel, this beloved Lowcountry venue has undergone an elegant transformation and is ready to unveil its refreshed look, renewed vision, and welcoming new team. Guests are invited to experience the magic of the Chapel’s next chapter through a lively and family-friendly celebration featuring coastal charm, southern hospitality, and elevated details throughout. The event will include: a ribbon cutting ceremony and official remarks from the ownership team at 11:30 AM; guided tours of the beautifully renovated venue; a curated wedding vendor showcase highlighting top local talent; live entertainment, delicious food and drinks, and engaging activities for all ages; and lastly a major giveaway with an unforgettable prize.
