Joseph “Rusty” Ross is a partner at Morris, Manning and Martin in the firm’s Healthcare and Real Estate Development and Finance Practices. Mr. Ross is the former senior vice president and general counsel of Memorial Health University Medical Center, Inc. His Healthcare practice centers around regulatory, governance and transactional matters for healthcare providers, including hospitals, physician groups, ancillary providers and other healthcare providers. Mr. Ross’s commercial real estate practice includes transactions, development and financing practice for a variety of clients, including developers, lenders and end users.
He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, cum laude, B.S., University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude, J.D., and University of Georgia School of Business, M.B.A.,
Rusty is also a member of the Savannah Bar Association. He is a member and Past Chair and Board Member for Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys. He is the Treasurer- Board of Directors and past-Chair, Hospice Savannah, Inc. Member, American Health Lawyers Association, Past Senior Warden and Vestryman, St. John’s Church and Member and past President, St. Andrew’s Society of Savannah. He was Named, Best Lawyers in America for Healthcare Law & Real Estate Law, 2019.
