Main Visitor Information Center Now Open Daily After COVID-19 Hiatus

Visit Savannah’s main Visitor Information Center (VIC) on Martin Luther King Blvd. is back to 7-days a week operation this week after a year-long hiatus due to COVID-19. The VIC returned to reduced operation hours in March 2021 but starting this week, visitors to our city can access the center Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Early spring saw a slow start to average visitation to the center, but June has seen near record numbers of visitors accessing member information and brochures daily. With tourism for Savannah and Tybee Island picking up, help your company reach these important dollars by having your rack cards and brochures in all four of the Visitor Information Centers around town. If you are interested in having your rack cards in VICs on MLK, River Street, the airport, and our Tybee Island location, please email Mava Byrd at  or John Reed.

Hours at the Main Visitor Center on MLK and at Tybee are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The River Street Visitor Center is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the Airport VIC is open 8:30 a.m. to Midnight.
