CCRPI Scores are on the Rise
The Georgia Department of Education released 2017 College and Career Ready Performance Index scores on November 2, 2017 which show improvement across the board in the state’s elementary, middle and high schools.  Those increases are reflected locally in the district’s overall score which rose 2.4 points over last year’s score from 64.5 to 66.9. The CCRPI is Georgia's statewide accountability system, implemented in 2012 to replace No Child Left Behind's Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) measurement.

Bartlett Named Top STEM Middle School Program in the State
The STEM Academy at Bartlett has been named the top STEM middle school in the state for 2017. Sponsored by the Technology Association of Georgia, this is the premier STEM award in Georgia recognizing the state’s top STEM schools means The STEM Academy at Bartlett is recognized for its innovative instructional practices, student academic achievement, and continuous dedication to promoting STEM education in the state.

SCCPSS CTAE Students Succeeding in School and Beyond
Newly released numbers show Savannah-Chatham County Public School students involved in CTAE (Career, Technical and Agricultural Education) programs achieved a graduation rate of 96.4-percent in the last school year.  That is higher than the state of Georgia’s 96-percent which was announced as an all-time high for the state in December.  In addition, the percentage of SCCPSS students entering post-secondary programs is 99.24-percent, which also exceeds the state average.
