About

Anthony M. Lanier, II is a philanthropist, advocate for the community, a champion for the youth, and has a genuine love for family and community. Lanier is an American football Defensive End for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Prior to signing with the Argonauts, Lanier played 4 seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders where he was named the CFL All-Pro Top Performer of the Week, led the league in QB pressures, and totaled 16 sacks. Before joining the CFL, Lanier's career included playing 5 seasons as Defensive End in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Commanders (formally Redskins), Los Angles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, and New Orleans Saints. Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Lanier created the Undefeated Warrior, the Anthony M. Lanier II Foundation (AML2F) as a means to give back to his community. The Undefeated Warrior the AML2 Foundation promotes education, good health, and the development of character, social skills, and values to empower youth in the Savannah community to reach their full potential. The Undefeated Warrior the AML2F is dedicated to its mission of being a voice for the underdog and the underserved in the Savannah-Chatham County, Georgia area. Throughout the year, the Undefeated Warrior the AML2 Foundation hosts youth football camps, educational and cultural field trips, turkey drives, and fundraisers. The foundation works collaboratively with other community-based organizations to continue their mission, because it takes a village to raise a Warrior.
