Small Business Council
Small businesses are the heart of Savannah's and Georgia's economies. Research by the Office of Advocacy shows that small businesses create most of the nation's net new jobs, and they bring dynamic ideas, innovative services, and new products to the marketplace. New business creation is key to Georgia's ability to increase its gross state product, state personal income and total state employment.
Over 80% of Chamber members are small businesses and therefore it is the goal of the Small Business Council to work to meet the needs and interests of small businesses and make sure they are recognized for their impact to the community.
The Council is the single forum where all member small businesses and other supportive interests come together to receive relevant information, advocacy and networking opportunities that assist them in maintaining the growth of their operations in the Savannah area.
