Ambassadors
Ambassadors are goodwill representatives of the Chamber who work for business and community interests in the Savannah area. These hard-working volunteers perform a key role in member relations and retention by working as a liaison between the Chamber and the public.
Ambassadors serve to orient new members and help ensure they maximize their Chamber membership by providing information on the Chamber’s many opportunities and upcoming events. Ambassadors also contact members on their six month membership date to inquire about participation and record feedback from those members. Ambassadors may also serve as the welcoming committee at special events such as business connections, luncheons, ribbon cuttings, and other Chamber networking events.
Serving as an Ambassador allows the individual to become part of a team that is very involved in our business community. This results in increased networking opportunities and enhanced visibility of their business. The Ambassadors enjoy a great sense of camaraderie within the group.
